Why on earth did I decide to put out a card deck? Isn’t it better to just write a book? Or start a podacst? Or maybe get on the TEDx stage and throw around some big ideas?
Sure, maybe. I looked at all of those, and I’m not saying I’m not interested in them.
When I looked at my clients, though, I saw people who didn’t need another book to read. They didn’t need something else to wade through. They didn’t need yet another podcast in their feed to put them to sleep at night. They didn’t need an inspirational talk. I’m also not saying there’s anything wrong with any of these things – or again, that I don’t want to write a book, start a podcast, or grace the TEDx stage. I actually really would like to do all those things!
What I saw my clients – and people like them, who have started businesses and need help making decisions, understanding how to maintain momentum, keep growing, dealing with the daily challenges of working together with people to get important things done – what I saw they needed was something they could take in small bites.
They need inspiration on hard days, tools on days where something needs to be tackled in a new way, access to understanding why they are doing what they’re doing in the first place. The need all of that in chunks that can be digested and acted on in the five or ten minutes they have here and there.
That’s what this deck is for. This deck is for you, the one who’s been banging your head against the same problems for the last several months or years. It’s for you, the one who knew this business could change something for the better if you just gave it a chance. It’s for you – the one who just feels really tired and over it and ready to do something else.
Check out the deck! And if you have questions, please drop me a line – I’d love to hear your story.
